Individual counseling
$150 a session
Individual counseling (sometimes called psychotherapy, talk therapy, or treatment) is a process through which clients work one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician in a safe, caring, and confidential environment. Individual counseling can help one deal with many personal topics in life and any mental health concerns that may be afflicting you.
LGBT Couples Counseling
Couples therapy
$200 a session
Couples therapy including cisgender or LGBT Couples Counseling is a form of psychotherapy that can help you and your partner improve your relationship. If you are having relationship difficulties, you can seek couples therapy to help rebuild your relationship. Couples therapy can address a wide range of relationship issues, including recurring conflicts, feelings of disconnection, an affair, issues related to sex, or difficulties due to external stressors.
Family therapy
$200 a session
Family therapy is a type of psychological counseling (psychotherapy) that can help family members improve communication and resolve conflicts. Family therapy is often short term. It may include all family members or just those able or willing to participate. Your specific treatment plan will depend on your family’s situation. Family therapy sessions can teach you skills to deepen family connections and get through stressful times, even after you’re done going to therapy sessions.
Group therapy
$40 a session
Group therapy involves one or more counselors who lead a group of roughly five to 10 clients, depending on the nature of the group. Typically, groups meet for an hour or two each week. Some people attend individual therapy in addition to groups, while others participate in groups only.
Many groups are designed to target a specific problem, such as depression, panic disorder, social anxiety, chronic pain or substance abuse. Other groups focus more generally on improving social skills, helping people deal with a range of issues such as processing their emotions, anger, shyness, loneliness and low self-esteem.
Session fees are to be paid out of pocket or with insurance.
