Anna (she/her) was born in Brooklyn, NY, to parents who immigrated from China, growing up in a culturally rich Asian household. Around the age of nine, she relocated to Albany, NY, where she completed the remainder of her early education. Her journey then took her to Cambridge, MA, where she began her studies in Art Therapy. Although Cambridge never quite felt like home, her passion for Art Therapy remained strong. In the spring of 2019, she transferred to Springfield College to complete her degree and later stayed in the area to pursue a Master of Education in Art Therapy and Counseling.

Throughout her professional journey, Anna has worked with a diverse range of client populations, from children as young as six to older adults. Her experience includes providing art therapy in nursing homes, supporting students in school art classrooms, and, most recently, offering outpatient services for two years to individuals within the DDS population. She has a strong background in developing and facilitating groups, including art groups for adults and therapeutic groups for children with ADHD.

In her clinical work, Anna often incorporates CBT and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, especially with clients who demonstrate resilience and a desire to focus on their future. Creativity remains at the heart of her practice, integrating art-making into sessions to foster expression and healing. Passionate about cultural humility, Anna enjoys working with clients from diverse backgrounds, embracing every opportunity to learn from their unique stories and perspectives. She is also a proud advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community, striving to create affirming spaces and meet clients where they are.
